You have an untenable situation, the communication between your environment and you is totally broken? You don't know how to restore it? Mediation and mentoring make it possible to approach this with support and listening.
Mediation and mentoring are above all methods of crisis resolution.
The mediator or mentor maintains neutrality, he conceptualizes ideas and brings out the structure of the conflict in order to make the situation clear.
In these interventions the human being, his fears, his need for respect and dignity are the basis of any exchange.
The beauty of mediation lies in the meeting, the journey towards the appeasement of the conflict, the moment of changeover where the participant or participants are, for a moment, on the chair of the other and understand it. The dignity of the participants is restored at this moment.
Example: Someone contacts us. During this first exchange, he presents his point of view; we only have the facts and feelings of one of the two parties.
The crucial point is the shock he expresses, the injustice he feels.
In this accompaniment, the structure of the conflict is a powerful means that we implement to smooth out this shock.
Then there is the face to face with the other party and the exchange of points of view
We, mediators don't take part, nor favours one of the parties. We refrain from having a financial interest in the outcome of the mediation.
We are mediators but not arbitrators.
We are supports of the participants in resolving their conflict, without having any interest in the conflict.
Meeting you and listening to you are the essence of success.
Your expression as well as that of the other participants allow us all to take on the dimension of the conflict.
We mediators do not divulge or transmit to anyone the content of the interviews, except legal obligation or non respect of public order. We cannot bring to court the elements of which we became aware during the enchantes.
We are detached from any pressure outside and / or inside the mediation. We undertake to refuse, suspend or interrupt mediation when the conditions for independence are not met.
Each participant has an interview with us. During this interview the rules, the framework, the role of each are clearly explained in order to allow free and informed consentment of the participants in the mediation.
But we can médiate with only one party. In this form it is as well mediation as mentoring.
Openness, listening and patience lead to a solution
Professionally, I have evolved since 1984 in a particularly masculine world, IT. This made me aware of the work process and its stakeholders. That everyone is a person, more than a man.
At the same time, very sensitive to the human and social aspect and to law, I became involved as an Staff Representative Body (HRP) in 1992. I held this position in the company that generated the consortium of achievement of Crédit Lyonnais which, between 1990 and 2003, went from 10,000 employees to 83. Over this period the company had 10 CEOs, a failed merger, twice taken over by two companies, Norwegian and English and an attempt to takeover of the company by its employees. During this period, as a Union Delegate, I negotiated the 35 hours in 2000.
During the period from 1992 to the present I have further developed my understanding of the structure of the company, which I consider to be a "body" through tax law. Responsible for a range of IT products in group taxation, my tax contacts have mainly been tax specialists from very large companies. With them came the principles of the group's structure, French and international.
Personally I expressed myself in poetry and I researched human nature through the approach of Jung's method. I call on experts like François Enius to improve my own anchoring and have a more "French" communication.
All this journey led me to question myself throughout.
It ended with a fundamental question: “what place can I take in today’s society and how is it possible to participate in it effectively? »
In mediation, I put these values into practice. It allows me to maintain neutrality, both towards the structure of the "corpus" and towards the humans who make up this corpus.
As a mentor those tools provide me to helping, listening and understanding
